Theology of the Body Camp for Teens
It is with great joy that we announce our fourth annual ECHO camp. It is sure to be an adventure through the wilderness of our hearts, revealing both beautiful and rugged terrain. The excursion is sure to be both fun and challenging, with the finish being guaranteed by our Savior to be one of "abundant life" (Jn 10:10). No matter where you are or where you have been, we are excited that you are interested and look forward to sharing this unique experience with you... one during which we are pretty confident God is going to surprise you with His dramatic and ridiculously deep love for... YOU.
WHAT
ECHO is a Theology of the Body Camp for Teens. We dive into, unpack, and process the themes of prayer, our identity, and our mission to love. We are all created to be in personal relationship with GOD. What is prayer? What is it not? Each of us are created as a unique, unrepeatable man or woman with a vocation to love like GOD. What does it mean to be human? What does it mean to be a man? a woman? What does it mean to be a son/daughter, brother/sister, spouse, father/mother? What does it mean to really love like GOD? How can dating become what it is meant to be? What does it mean to have authentic, pure, life-giving relationships?
WHO
Echo is open to entering Juniors and Seniors in High School as well as graduating seniors. Due to space, overall balance or guy/gal ratio, and other factors, the camp is necessarily limited. Everyone who applies will be considered, but not all can be accepted for this year's camp. Echo 2013 applications will be posted on Saturday, February 16th at Noon (Central) and will close on Monday, March 25th at 5pm (Central).
